Stucco Wall Assembly with Joto-Vent

Stucco Wall Assembly with Joto-Vent

Example of Stucco Wall Assembly with Joto-Vent

This detail proposing an assembly that uses a weep screed. When Joto-Vent is used, a space is required between the foundation and the sill for the venting. For this reason, an insect prevention strip should be installed first, followed by a Z-shaped covering above it. A weep screed is then installed on top of the Z-covering, and from that point upward, a standard stucco wall assembly is applied. This detail is provided as a reference example only.
