Project Idea from Our Client

1/2” Soffit Vent (SV2-1209-BK) with 3/4” T&G Board, make two saw cuts in the board shown in the picture. This simple modification allows the vent to fit neatly while keeping the openings hidden for a clean, refined look.

It’s an excellent example of how one of our customers enhanced aesthetic design without compromising ventilation performance – a truly smart and creative approach.

Optimized for Airflow Performance

The Soffit Vent incorporates a minimum 1/4” wide screen designed to ensure efficient soffit ventilation while preventing the entry of birds, rodents, and large debris. This opening size maintains the net free vent area (NFVA) and minimizes airflow restriction compared to finer insect screens.
